Eleven Years Saturday - Poem
Eleven years Saturday, you said "Goodbye. I've met another and now I will fly." Eleven years Saturday, all on my own, I packed up my things, memories on loan.
Eleven years Saturday I circled my soul, Which way to travel? Which way to go? Eleven years Saturday I found my life, Never looked back, still nobody’s wife.
Eleven years Saturday I saw my worth, Looked deep inside me and witnessed rebirth. Eleven years Saturday I started again, Faced into the sun, many tears to mend.
The only conclusion for me, and for you, Are lessons we learn and forgiveness, too.
Forgiveness - Poem
It all has a reason, the suffering and pain. What once seemed so perfect, has ended, again.
"This one's for real. This one is ready." Then turn around next day, no longer steady.
The only conclusion for me, and for you, Are lessons we learn, and forgiveness, too.
