Why Digital With A Difference?

Because Tina doesn't take the 'easy way out'.
She believes that heavy reliance on common digital devices, like graduated fills and filter effects,
are not what creativity is about.

With a background in fine art, Tina strives to create artwork that is virtually painted on the screen to give it an undigital look, so that each piece she creates looks (and is) unique. And she employs custom-made textures to add depth and interest. Tina calls her work 'mixed digital media,' as she uses a mix of scans, vector and non-vector techniques to get the results she is after.

Tina has discovered that the same techniques used by the Old Masters apply to creating on the computer, from starting with a blank screen as painters do with a blank canvas, careful planning and thoughtful color selection.

Tina employs various looks - from watercolor to
hard edge - to gain the desired result.
